I wouldn't camp anywhere but the walk-in sites... But I don't use any large equipment. The walk in sites do have a nice cart to assist with getting your camp set up. The views from that site are awesome!
Great state park up in the Beltrami Forrest area.
Beautiful campground. Some trails for walking including the short boardwalk bog walk. Mediocre beach...nice sand but a lot of plantlife in the water.
Very quiet and scenic state park. There is little development on the lake , so it has a wilderness feel. Hiking trails may not be cleared right away after a big storm, or strong winds, so it may be better to explore this park by lake. The campground offers great space for RVs and campers in tents or small trailers who want more privacy.
Nice lake not to many people grills to cook out. Plenty of parking.
